NAVTTC Free Courses 2026 – Admissions, Stipend & How to Apply
Free training. A monthly stipend. A government certificate. The NAVTTC free courses 2026 are the closest thing Pakistan has to a free ticket into skilled work — and most young people who qualify have never heard of them.
NAVTTC — the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, working under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training — offers 3-month and 6-month courses in trades the market actually hires for: electricians, welders, HVAC technicians, e-commerce, AI and robotics.
What Is Actually Free
Under the 2026 programs, selected candidates pay nothing for training — the federal government funds the full cost, including materials. The OGDCL-NAVTTC Batch IV round went further: a Rs. 5,000 monthly stipend, a Rs. 15,000 travel allowance, free hostel accommodation, and three meals a day for the three-month program.
The Course List (2026 Batches)
| Track | Courses | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Emerging tech | AI & Robotics, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing (AI-integrated) | 3 months |
| Industrial trades | Advanced CNC/Machinist, Advanced Welding, Auto-Mechanic with E-Vehicle | 6 months |
| Electrical & HVAC | Industrial Electrician & Solar PV Technician, Advanced HVACR | 3–6 months |
| Services | Fashion Designing & Dress Making, Beautician Therapy, Professional Chef (Hospitality) | 3–6 months |
| Plumbing | Plumber & Pipe Fitting | 3 months |
Who Can Apply
- Age: 18 to 40 years for most batches
- Education: Matric pass minimum for most courses. A few advanced tracks prefer Intermediate.
- Citizenship: Pakistani national with a valid CNIC.
- Gender: Male and female; several 2026 announcements explicitly encourage female applicants.
Which Course Should You Actually Pick?
Start with your location, not your ambition. Solar PV technician is the quiet star of the 2026 list: Pakistan’s solar boom has created real installation demand, the skill takes three months to learn. For women, the beautician therapy and fashion designing tracks have the strongest home-business conversion. The trades nobody glamorizes — plumbing, welding, HVAC — are the ones Gulf recruiters ask about by name.
